My name is Michael.

I have been passionately immersed in the creative world of photography and visual effects for over a decade, operating as an independent photographer and VFX artist across Metro Vancouver.

Transitioning from a successful career in the VFX industry, where my work has graced the big screen in films like Sonic 2 (2022), Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022), and Jumanji (2019), I've pivoted to prioritize my full-time role in photography; particularly since the onset of COVID and the 2023 US Writers strike shut down the VFX industry in BC.

This shift has allowed me to channel my creative energy and expertise into capturing captivating moments through both photography, as well as video services (which I began offering in 2020), leveraging my extensive experience in video production.

Collaborating with various local studios and esteemed creators, I am dedicated to delivering unparalleled quality in both photography and cinematography, all while maintaining a commitment to affordability for my valued clients.

Over the years I’ve had the privilege of creating lasting memories all across the world - my work has been highlighted in competitions and awards, and the time that I’m not busy with photoshoots, I spend donating my time with local sports teams and organizations.
